To board a train:
- on a domestic route in the Russian Federation, you need a boarding pass printout (in the A4 format) and an ID which you specified during e-ticket reservation.
- traveling between the Russian Federation and Latvia, the Russian Federation and Lithuania, the Russian Federation and Belarus, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, you need to have on you an ID which was specified during e-ticket reservation. We also recommend you to have on you a control coupon with the travel information when you are boarding.
- on a domestic or international route #17/18 Moscow–Nice–Moscow, #21/22 Moscow–Prague–Moscow, including non-stop carriages Moscow–Vienna–Moscow, Moscow–Karlovy Vary–Cheb–Moscow, St Petersburg–Prague–St Petersburg, St Petersburg–Vienna–St Petersburg, #23/24 Moscow–Paris–Moscow, #32/31 Moscow–Helsinki–Moscow, and Allegro high-speed trains St Petersburg–Helsinki–St Petersburg, you need a boarding pass printout (in the A4 format) or the boarding pass on mobile device's screen, an ID which you specified during e-ticket reservation.
- on international route #9/10 Moscow–Warsaw–Moscow (except carriages Moscow–Budapest–Moscow, Moscow–Sofia–Moscow, Moscow–Varna–Moscow, Moscow–Burgas–Moscow, Moscow–Bar–Moscow), you need a boarding pass printout (in the A4 format) and an ID which you specified during e-ticket reservation.
- traveling between Russia and Latvia, Russia and Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan, Russia and Lithuania, Russia and Estonia, you need an ID which you specified during e-ticket reservation. We also recommend you to have an e-ticket printout on you.
- departing from Vilnius, you need a boarding pass printout.
Please note: if you canceled an electronic check-in service by obtaining a boarding pass (travel document) at a booking office or on a self-service kiosk, you must show it when you board the train.
