- An adult may carry for free one child under 6 years of age. In that case, a free of charge e-ticket is issued for a child without a separate seat in the same order with a standard fare ticket; such ticket may as well be obtained at a booking office by resenting an e-ticket paid under the standard fare.
- You may book an e-ticket for a child under 6 years with a seat provided under the child fare in the same order with a standard fare ticket.
- Children between 6 and 17 years must be issued a ticket with a separate seat paid under the child fare in the same order with the standard fare ticket.
- Children of 17 years and over are issued e-tickets under the standard fare.
For international or domestic trips with children under 18 years of age which include transit through CIS countries, a passenger must have on him or her all the documents required to cross the border, including a notarized child travel consent of parents (custodians or guardians) which permits crossing the Russian Federation border.
