Why choose British Rail (ATOC)?
- Convenient e-ticket issuing;
- Valid for travel between two selected stations. There are no restrictions as to day, time, or train. Stopovers allowed en-route;
- Point-to-Point Tickets must be validated within 6 months of issuing date. Once they are validated, they are valid for 2 months from that date.
- Trains are completely non-smoking;
- Two coach classes: “First class” and “Standard”;
- Some trains have special carriages such as “Quiet Carriages” or “Entertainment Carriages”, where each seat has a personal TV.

- TICKET ON DEPARTURE & RESERVATION — any time
- TICKET ON DEPARTURE & RESERVATION – offpeak
- TICKET ON DEPARTURE & RESERVATION – super-offpeak
- TICKET ON DEPARTURE & RESERVATION – advance

Transportation rules
Luggage
Each passenger is allowed 3 pieces of luggage at no cost (two larger items and one hand luggage). Any additional piece of luggage will be charged a fee. Train carriages offer overhead luggage racks, space between seats and storage area at the entrance for larger items. Most principal stations have affordable and secure luggage facilities. A luggage trolley can be requested at a small fee if you need help with your baggage.
Bicycles
Passengers may carry their folded bicycle onboard at no additional fee.
Animals
Passengers are allowed to travel with up to two pets at no charge. Pets must either be on a leash or in a crate and are not permitted in restaurant cars except for guide dogs.
Accessibility
If assistance is required for passengers with disabilities, the Train Operating Company or station must be contacted in advance at least 24 hours prior to the train departure.
