Events that seriously damage your health during a trip are considered to be accidents. They include:
- traumas;
- acute poisoning caused by chemical substances, poisonous plants, poor quality food (except for alimentary toxicoinfection, salmonellosis, dysentery), medical products;
- tick-borne encephalitis (encephalomyelitis) or poliomyelitis;
- rupture or other type of damage of internal organs or their removal as a result of incorrect medical procedures.
- Death resulting from an accident also belongs to this category.
